Abstract
Hitit’lerden Lidya’lılara, Romalılar’dan Türkler’e kadar pek çok millete ev sahipliği yapmış olan Konya’da farklı dinlerin ve farklı kültürlerin izlerini görmek mümkündür. Hıristiyanların kutsal kitabında İconium olarak yer alan bu tarihi kent, Pavlus tarafından misyonerlik yolculukları kapsamında birkaç kez ziyaret edilmiştir. Konya’ya yakın yerleşimlerden Lystra ve Derbe’yi de kapsayan bu yolculuklar zaman zaman pagan ve Yahudilerin şiddetli muhalefetine sahne olmuş, bazen de mucizevî olaylar yaşanmıştır. Her ne kadar bu bilgilerin doğruluğunu tartışan araştırmacılar olsa da, inançlı Hıristiyanlar açısından buralar hac yerleri olarak ilgi görmeye devam etmektedir.

Abstract
It is possible to observe the traces of distinct religions and cultures in Konya that served as the homeland for various nations such as Hittites, Lydians, Romans and Turks throughout the centuries. This historical city which is referred to as "Iconium" in the Holy Bible was visited by Pavlus several times during his missionary journeys. These journeys which also included routes to Lystra and Derbe were opposed severely by the Jews, pagans and marvelous events were rumored to occur during the journeys. Although some investigators still dispute the accuracy of these, the aforementioned places continue to draw attention as pilgrimage places among the faithful Christians.
