Abstract

Özet
Ebussuûd Efendi, Osmanlnn yetitirdii seçkin âlimlerden birisidir. Onun, hayat boyunca ortaya
koyduu icraatlar ve geride brakt eserler bu gerçei gösterdii gibi, hakknda yaplan çalmalar
da sözkonusu hakikate iaret etmektedir. Bu sebeple ahs ve eserleri hakknda yaplan çalmalar
onu tantmak açsndan oldukça önemlidir. Ancak bu çalmalar Türkçe ile snrl kalmtr.
Bundan dolay biz, Türk olmasna ramen deerli Arapça eserler de kaleme alan Ebussuûd
Efendi’yi, Arapça bir makale boyutunda tantmak istedik. O, seçkin bir müderris, önemli bir kad,
ünlü bir eyhülislam olmasnn yan sra ayn zamanda güçlü bir Arap dili ve edebiyat alimidir. Dil
sahasnda geride brakt çalmalar ve özellikle belâgat yönü ar basan tefsîri râdü’l-akli’s-selîm
ilâ mezâya’l-Kur’âni’l-Kerîm bu yönlere delalet eder. Makalemizde, Ebussuûd Efendi’nin daha çok
bu özelliini ele alacaz.

Abstract
Ebussuud Efendi (Dignified), was one of the great scholars educated by the Ottoman State.
Throughout his life, he had many achievements and work left behind in history that show his
reality, regarding the works of study about him as proof. With this respective reason and the
works that concern him are very important to introduce. However, his work was written and
limited in the Turkish language. Although Ebussuud was Turkish, he had valuable written
Arabic pieces of work, and for this reason we wanted to present him in the Arabic language. He
was a distinguished professor (mudarris), an important judge of Islamic canon law, and a strong
Arabic language and literature scholar. The works he compiled, as well as, his tafseer especially
related with the rhetorics of the Qur’an were an indication of this. We will further dwell upon
the point of view about Ebussuud Efendi in our article.
