Abstract
The problems in contemporary philosophy of mind are now discussed more in Turkish philosophical literature, especially with newly translated works. These problems are examined not only by philosophers, but also by experts in medical sciences mostly through neuroscientists. This book review explores the recently published book The Mind of God by Dr. Jay Lombard, in which the author analyzes the relationship between mind and brain from the perspective of a neurologist and neuroscientist using his professional experience. Throughout the book, the author presents to readers ideas from his own perspective, based on the experiences of some of his patients, on subjects such as mind, consciousness, soul, personality, self, and free will. This book review concludes that The Mind of God by Dr. Jay Lombard offers an attention-grabbing perspective on the relationship between philosophy of mind and neuroscience.

Abstract
Çağdaş zihin felsefesi problemleri Türkçe felsefi literatürde, özellikle çeviri eserlerle birlikte artık daha yoğun bir şekilde tartışılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu problemler sadece filozoflar tarafından değil, yer yer sinirbilimciler kanalıyla tıp bilimleri uzmanları tarafından da tartışılmaktadır. Bu kitap incelemesi Dr. Jay Lombard’ın yakın zamanda yayımlanan Tanrı’nın Zihni adlı eserini ele almaktadır. Yazar bu eserinde bir nörolog ve sinirbilimci perspektifinden mesleki tecrübelerinden de faydalanarak beyin ve zihin ilişkisini irdeliyor. Yazar kitap boyunca zihin, bilinç, ruh, kişilik, benlik, özgür irade gibi konularda, birtakım hastalarının deneyimlerinden yola çıkarak oluşturduğu fikirleri kendi bakış açısından okuyucuya sunuyor. Bu kitap incelemesi sözü edilen eserin zihin felsefesi ile sinirbilim ilişkisine dair dikkate değer bir bakış açısı sunduğu tespitini yapmaktadır.
