SÜNNET KUR’ÂN’A KÂDÎDİR” SÖZÜNÜNTEORİK VE PRATİK DEĞERİ

The relation established between the Quran and the Sunnah which are the basic sources of Islam is very important from the viewpoint of Islamic sciences. In this context the statement of Yahya b. Kesîr as “The Sunnah is the judge (qadi) upon the Quran but the Quran is not the judge upon the Sunnah” is eye catching. In this study, the meaning of this statement in theory and its reflections in practice are designated. This study ends with some determinations and proposals in this subject.

İslam dininin iki temel kaynağı olan Kur’an ile sünnet arasında kurulan ilişki, şer’i ilimler açısından çok büyük bir önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada ele aldığımız Yahya b. Kesîr’e ait; “Sünnet Kitaba kâdîdir, Kitap ise, sünnete kâdî değildir” sözü, bu bağlamda zikredilmiş dikkat çekici bir ifadedir. Çalışmada, söz konusu ifadenin nazari olarak ifade ettiği anlam ve pratik olarak uygulamaya akseden yansımaları tespit edilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Çalışma bu konuda yapılan bazı tespitler ve bunlarla ilgili bazı tekliflerle son bulmaktadır
