Abstract

The aim of the Holy Quran which is divine as utterance and meaning is to
guide the mankind to the right way. For becoming true of this, it should be recited
with two aspects: utterance and meaning. The terms about the reciting in the
Quran, its being Arabic, seven letters, and also practices narrated from the Prophet,
his companions and their followers, some sciences related to Holy Quran like
Fadail al Quran, Havas al Quran, all of these emphasize this point. As a result, reciting
Holy Quran requires its understanding.

Abstract

Hem lafız, hem de mana olarak ilâhî olan Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in gönderiliş gayesi, insanlığı hidayete ulaştırmaktır. Bunun gerçekleşebilmesi için Kur’ân’ın, lafız ve mana boyutunu kapsayacak şekilde okunması gerekir. Zira bu konuda, gerek bizzat Kur’ân’da okumayı ifade eden kavramlar, gerek onun Arapça oluşu, yedi harf üzere indirilişi, kırâatleri, tecvidi, secde ayetleri gibi özel bazı hususiyetler, gerek Hz. Peygamber, sahâbe ve seleften nakledilen okuma uygulamaları ve gerekse fadâilü’l-Kur’ân, havâssu’l-Kur’ân ve âdâbu’t-Tilâve gibi Kur’ân ilimleri bu hususu açıkça ortaya koymaktadır. Sonuç olarak ideal bir Kur’ân okuyuşu, onu anlamayı da gerektirmektedir
