THE AUTHORITY AND METHOD PROBLEM TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOLY TEXT

Abstract

The problem authority and methodology is question which is basically focus on responsibility of speaking on behalf of Allah (God) with in the context of special and technical meaning. In the historical experiment, it has been given different answers to some problems such as the meaning and possibility of speaking on behalf of Allah and who and how will perform this action. The understanding and interpretation of Qur’an and Sunna(tradition) which are the fundamental reference texts of Islam, in our time, cause to produce two different trends; the first one is extremely literal and second one is highly intention. In this article, it has been examined same basic problem, such as the authority of interpretation of the existing Holy Texts and method of utilizing this authority within this context, it has been aimed to present inclusive illustration of outlook on power and manner of comprehending the Qur’an and particularly the Holy Text of Islamic law in the Qur’an
