UNDER THE MEANING OF THE HOLY QURAN THE MEANING OF THE RECITING THE HOLY QURAN

Abstract

The aim of the Holy Quran which is divine as utterance and meaning is to guide the mankind to the right way. For becoming true of this, it should be recited with two aspects: utterance and meaning. The terms about the reciting in the Quran, its being Arabic, seven letters, and also practices narrated from the Prophet, his companions and their followers, some sciences related to Holy Quran like Fadail al Quran, Havas al Quran, all of these emphasize this point. As a result, reciting Holy Quran requires its understanding.
