Writing Rules

In the articles published in the Balıkesir Theology Journal (BAID), the ISNAD Citation Style, where footnote and in-text citation management can be used in both text and bibliography. Therefore, articles written in footnote format are accepted according to ISNAD 2nd Edition Citation System.
The articles to be published in the Balıkesir Theology Journal (BAID) should be original studies that contribute to science in the field of social sciences that center on theology and should have the following characteristics:
Titles in Turkish and other languages should be compatible with the content of the article, and should reflect the subject of the article in a short, clear and sufficient manner.
Aabstracts in Turkish and other languages should reflect the purpose, scope and results of the manuscript.
If the article is produced from a master's or doctoral thesis, it must be stated on the first page of the article.
In the body of the article, the subject of the study, its purpose, scope, justification for preparation etc. should be provided in a sufficient and certain order.
The sources used in the article should be arranged in accordance with journal rules, every document mentioned should be included in the references section; the documents not mentioned in the article should not be included in the references section.
The results should be in accordance with the purpose and scope of the research should be given in a concise outline and data or findings not mentioned in the text should not be included.
Page layout: A4 margins 2.5 cm.

Text format: Text should be written in Calibri font, 11 font size and headings in bold. The main text should be written in 1.15 line spacing, and footnotes spacing should be full, the value should be 10 nk, and 9 size the same font as the text. The main text and footnotes should be in the range → Before: 0.3 nk, After: 0 nk. Abstracts should be written in 10 font size.

The title of the article should be written at the beginning of the first page in bold, 12 size in capital letters.
Author Name (s) and Address (s): 2 line spacing should be given after the title, with the author's name (s), title, institution, e-mail and Orcid information in Turkish and English. Sample:

After the identity of the author, 2 line spacing should be left and the abstract should be written in 10 Calibri font. Turkish and English abstracts should consist of a minimum of 150 and a maximum of 250 words. In the Summary section; The subject, scope, importance and objectives of the research should be stated.


"Keywords / Keywords" consisting of at least 5 and at most 8 words should be followed after the Summary and Abstract sections. The first concept must be the science branch. Then, concepts that fully reflect the content of the article should be added.

The article should not exceed 40 pages including tables, figures, photographs and references.
