Müşkil Ayetler Bağlamında Zekeriya-Yahya Kıssası

The Zakariyah-Yahya Story in the Context of Inconsistent Verses The story of Zakariyah-Yahya, which is one of the fables of Quran, is passed in the Surah Ali Imran , in the Surah Maryam and in the Surah Al-Anbiya. It’s ex- plained the appeal of Zakariyah to his god for endowing him with a child in that story. This fable has consisted of significant messages about the procedure of prayer and the points that has been observed. In this article, we will try to fix the main themes, which are dominant the story, and to find answers for problems, that interpreters has discussed in this fable

Kur’an kıssalarından biri olan Zekeriya-Yahya kıssası Âli İmran suresi 3/37-42, Meryem suresi 19/1-11 ve Enbiya suresi 21/89-90. ayetlerde geçmektedir. Hz. Zekeriya’nın kendisine bir veli/çocuk vermesi için Rabbine yakarışının anlatıldığı bu kıssanın makbul bir duada gözetilmesi gereken hususlara ve duanın adabına dair önemli mesajlar içerdiği görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada Zekeriya-Yahya kıssasına hâkim olan ana temalar tespit edilecek ve kıssada işkâle sebep olup müfessirlerin tartıştıkları sorulara/sorunlara cevaplar aranacaktır
