Öz
Peygamberlerin nübüvvet öncesi yaşamları, sonrası için bir hazırlık dönemi mesabesindedir. Toplumları ıslah göreviyle gönderilen bu insanların peygamberlik öncesi yaşamları tertemiz olmalıdır ki, muhataplarına güven verebilsin. Hz. Muhammed vahiy almadan önceki dönemde şirkin her çeşidinden uzak bir hayat yaşamıştır. Bazen, Kur’an ayetleri ve kimi rivayetlere dayanarak onun nübüvvet öncesi dönemde dalâlette olduğu şeklinde yorumlar yapılmaktadır. Bu makalede onun bi’set öncesi dönemiyle ilgili olarak Kur’an’da yer alan ‘dalâletten hidayete erdirilmesi’nin ne anlama geldiği üzerinde durulacaktır

Öz
The Prophet Muhammad’s Faith in the Pre-Prophethood Period in the Context of the Verses, al-Duha (93/7) and al-Inshirah (94/2) Pre-prophethood life may be regarded as a preparatory to the subsequent period of prophethood. Since the prophets had been charged to correct the societies, they had lived a perfectly clear life before the prophethood and had thus gained trust of the people to whom they had been sent. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had in this sense been living a pure life away from all kinds of polytheism (al-shirk) before the assignment of the prophethood. However, based upon Qur’anic verses and a number of narrations, interpretations alleging that he had fallen into heresy in the pre-prophethood years have occasionally being made. This article deals with the issue of the guidance bestowed on him when he was found wandering as it is mentioned in the Qur’an with regard to his life before the prophethood days
