The Mu’tazilah school has been forced away gradually from the "Sunni Islamic world" from the last part of the third century of hegira onwards. In addition, the books belonging to them have vanished in time. Because of the lack of Mu’tazilite books, information about them has restricted just as that given by their adversaries in the Sunni world. Having cited the Mu’tazilite views as missing or with some additions which seem to be purposeful now and then, these writers have caused to a negative image about them. After discovering some Mu’tazilite books at later time, it had been understood their genuine views. In this article, following a brief historical account about the Mu’tazilite sources some falsification in the quotation concerning their Hadith and Sunna understanding have been studied as pattern. In addition to this, a brief historical account has been given about present Mu’tazilite books with the hope that it will contribute to the new studies that will be made about the doctrine of this sect in the future and it has been pointed out to the necessity of learning genuine Mu’tazilah from their own sources.
