Tastir in Arabic Poetry of the Ottoman Period The most important issue which attracts notice in Arabic Poetry of the Ottoman Period is the use badi arts immensely. The poets have given the famous badi arts in the former periods a place in their poems. On the other hand they have improved new arts and they have made a contribution to Arabic Literature. In this article the issue of tastir in Arabic poem is handled from different viewpoints. Firstly, the usage of the tastir in classical poetry and in its sources is mentioned, and then, the conceptual meaning of tastir in Arabic Poetry of the Ottoman Period is discussed. After that the techniques which had used by poets in their poetries is indicated. Separately, the positive and adverse effects of tastir in the meaning of poetries is regarded. And lastly, the tastir is compared with some arts like tadmin and muarada

Osmanlı Dönemi Arap Şiirinde dikkat çeken en önemli hususlardan biri bedî sanatlarının yoğun bir biçimde kullanılmasıdır. Şairler bir yandan önceki dönemlerde bilinen sanatlara şiirlerinde yer verirken diğer yandan da yeni sanatlar geliştirip Arap Edebiyatı’na katkıda bulunmuşlardır. Bu dönem şiirlerinde karşılaşılan sanatlardan biri de taştîrdir. İşte bu çalışmada Arap şiirinde taştîr farklı yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle kavramın Osmanlı dönemi öncesi Arap şiiri ve kaynaklarındaki kullanımına değinilmiş, ardından Osmanlı Dönemi Arap Şiirinde taştîr incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda taştîr yapan şairlerin kullandıkları tekniklere işaret edilmiş ve taştîrin olumlu yahut olumsuz olarak şiirin anlamına etkileri tahlil edilmiştir. Son olarak da taştîrin tazmin ve muaraza gibi sanatlarla mukayesesi yapılmıştır
