Abstract
Bu çalışma sağın ve solun kaynağını sergilemek, her iki kavrama İslam Dünyasında ve özelde Türkiye’de yaklaşımları ortaya koymak, aynı zamanda da Tevrat’ta, İncil’de ve Kur’an’da her ikisine yüklenen anlamı tasvir etmek amacındadır. Ayrıca hedefimiz, birtakım Türkçe meal sahipleri tarafından “sağcı” ve “solcu” olarak tercüme edilen Ashâbu’l-meymene, Ashâbu’l-yemîn, Ashâbu’l-meş’eme ve Ashâbu’şşimâl gibi Kur’anî kavramların günümüzdeki sağcılık ve solculuk ile ilişkisinin olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır
Abstract
This paper tries to describe the origin of “right” and “left”, some of the approaches
to them in the Muslim world especially in Turkey as well as the approaches
of the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran to these concepts. It attempts to
discover whether there is a relationship between them and Quranic concepts such
as Ashâb al maymana, Ashâb al yameen, Ashâb al mashama and Ashâb al shimaal
which have been translated by few Muslim Turkish Quran translators as “rightists”
and “leftists.”
