Intercivilizational dialogue is a phenomenon connected with globalization
which is an important reality of our time. Clearly the processes of globalization
have brought the world's religious and cultural communities into encounter in
ways never experienced in the past, so globalization is a fundamental factor for
dialogue efforts.
The aim of this article is to make an attempt at understanding intercivilizational
dialogue in the context of globalization. his study rests on the fundamental
assumption that in spite of some negative dimensions of globalization and
some distrustful attitudes of modern West, dialogue and communication among
civilizations as equal partners might take place.
In this article firstly, some relevant subjects and secondly, some suggestions
for globalization and intercivilizational dialogue are presented.
