This article deals with the Baghdad grammar school and its representatives. The Arabic grammar activities had started in Baghdad in the 9th century after Basra and Kufa grammar schools. Baghdad which was the capital city of the Abbasid Empire was the most important center in that period. It was the crossroads of scientists and artists. Many scholars studied Arabic grammar in Baghdad and wrote many books on it. The article is a descriptive overview of these activities
Bu çalışma, Arap dili gramer tarihinde beş ekolden biri olarak kabul edilen Bağdat gramer ekolü ve temsilcileri hakkında bilgi sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bağdat gramer ekolü, Basra ve Kûfe şehirlerindeki gramer çalışmalarının sentezini temsil eder. Makalede, IX-XII. yüzyıllar arasında dünyanın en önemli medeniyet merkezi konumundaki Bağdat’da, Arap dili grameri ile ilgili icrâ edilen faaliyetler ve Bağdat ekolünün önde gelen gramer âlimleri hakkında bilgiler yer almaktadır
