Abstract
Religiosity and Social Self in Adolescents This article is intended to expound the relationship between religiosity and social self in adolescents. We shall first address the definition of adolescence and the major character- istics of the growth in this period and then treat the religious development in the period of adolescence and finally examine the relationship between religiosity and social self in the adolescents. The variables of social self of which the relationship with religiosity is considered are particularly family and friends, as well as the choosing of vocation, educa- tion goals and the relationship with the opposite sex
Abstract
Ergenlik biyolojik, bilişsel, duygusal ve sosyal açıdan gelişme ve olgunlaşmanın gerçekleştiği, çocukluktan yetişkinliğe bir geçiş dönemidir. Ergenlik aynı zamanda, diğer gelişim yüzlerinde olduğu gibi, dindarlık açısından da bir muhakeme ve tekrar şekillenme dönemidir. Bu makalenin amacı ergenlerde dindarlık-sosyal benlik ilişkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada öncelikle ergenliğin tanımı ve bu dönemde gelişimin temel özellikleri, daha sonra ergenlik döneminde dini gelişim ve son olarak ergenlerde dindarlık-sosyal benlik ilişkisi ele alınacaktır. Araştırmada dindarlıkla ilişkisi değerlendirilen sosyal benlik değişkenleri, aile ve arkadaş çevresi öncelikli olmak üzere meslek seçimi, eğitim hedefleri ve karşı cinsle ilişkilerdir
