HADİS ARAŞTIRMALARINDA DİKKATSİZLİK PROBLEMİ

In this article entitled “problem of carelessness in the hadith researches”, it has been discussed “the possibilty of lessening the mistakes” commencing from “the examples of mistakes in contemporary hadith researches”. It has been realized that the very basic defect was the translation mistakes came out as a result of quick and careless translation and the wrong decisions based on these translation mistakes. In order to reduce the erros, it has been seen that, first of all, it is necessary to be more careful and sensitive in analysing the subject matters of discussion and also there are some material-moral principles that should be considered during the oral and written discussion of this kind of matters, of which the first coming is to read, understand and interpret the texts of hadith in an objective manner. Otherwise, it is inevitable that this kind of reading which has no connection with the scholarly understanding will consciously or unconsciously lead to a strange attitude and act of approvement the plan and project which was determined in the mind with the text which was read at the end. Overcoming this handicap/problem will provide the texts of hadith with the opportunity of expressing themselves as they are. In addition, there are the important factors that the academicians having different opinions should be taken into consideration seriously and that the full capacity of mind and memory power should be used without any negative effect of environment and also that the Arabic language and literature should be known eloquently. Undoubtly, the creation of desired skill and faculty of hadith depends on putting these principles into effect punctually. Application of careful, solemn, calm, objective and critical method to the hadith reading in a decent manner will produce some values in theory and practice and open new horizons for an equilibriumed life
